Inabata & Co., Ltd.’s Information & Electronics Division III and Humetrics Inc., a Taiwanese IT venture company that develops a bed sensor, “i Cue,” jointly exhibited in MEDICAL JAPAN 2022 TOKYO – 5th MEDICAL / ELDERLY CARE / PHARMACY WEEK TOKYO held at Makuhari Messe, Oct.12-14.

The sensor constantly monitors the patient’s lying and leaving the bed, vital information (pulse/heart rate, etc.), sleep status, etc. The division and Humetrics demonstrated the sensor at the booth using nursing care beds and wheelchairs.

Mizuki Kumakawa, who is in charge of the products at the division, said, “Reflecting social issues such as shortage of care managers and nurses, many nursing care facilities and medical vendors visited us who were interested in technology that can mechanize some part of nursing care work. We hope to contribute to such social issues as much as possible through this product.”
