Inabata & Co., Ltd.’s Information & Electronics DivisionⅠand Taiwan’s MPI Corp. jointly exhibited in the 5th Automotive World Nagoya, an exhibition on cutting-edge technology in the automotive industry, Oct. 26-28.
Using a demonstration device, Inabata showcased MPI’s high-capacity thermal air stream system used for temperature testing to verify the quality and reliability of semiconductors and electronic components. MPI holds more than 60% of the global market share of such testing equipment. MPI’s thermal air stream system can cover from -80℃ to 225℃ without using liquid nitrogen or carbon dioxide, has low power consumption, and is quiet during operation.
About 90 people, mainly from the automotive field, visited Inabata’s booth over the three days.
As the name speaks for itself, many visitors from the automotive industry came, said Kanta Hayashi, who is in charge of the products at the division. He added, “Because the event took place in Nagoya, locally-based companies visited our booth. There were difficulties in arranging customer interviews because the equipment is quite specialized but could talk to many people, and it was a meaningful exhibition.”
