Industrial Materials Department of Plastics Division II participated in TOKYO PACK 2022, held at Tokyo Big Sight, October 12-14.

Plastic Division II exhibited its circulatory recycling business, using display panels and videos in cooperation with Apple Film Co., Ltd., an IK group firm. Inabata Group provides a total solution from collecting waste plastic, recycling, proposing recycled products, and recollecting plastic, teaming up with Daisei Ecology K.K.. About 1,000 visitors came to the Inabata booth during the three days, including not only customers from the packaging industry but from other fields.

One of the staff at the booth said there seem to be two reasons why so many people visited the Inabata booth. One is because the IK Group can provide a comprehensive service from collecting waste plastic, recycling, proposing eco-products, and recollection. The second is that visitors seemed to be attracted by the eye-catching panel and video explaining the key points of how to create a circulatory recycling business using waste plastic. In particular, major brand owners seem to be increasingly aware of the recycling issue, and we received many enthusiastic questions, even from people who are not directly involved with packaging materials.
